The 2022 summer transfer window has closed last night as some Premier League clubs took advantage to strike some important deals before the closing time. However, here are the 3 late signs that got people talking last night:
Arthur Melo To Liverpool
The Brazilian made a sudden and shocking move to Liverpool, joining on loan to help with their injury issues. His arrival will give Jurgen Klopp more options when selecting his team.
He is expected to further strengthen the team for a title challenge this season.
Pierre Emerick Aubameyang To Chelsea
The Gabon Striker made a sensational return to the Premier League but not to Arsenal. He signed for Chelsea and reunite with his ex-coach at Borussia Dortmund, Thomas Tuchel.
He has taken the number nine shirt as he can’t wait to start playing for Chelsea this season. Hopefully, he might get a chance in their next game.
Denis Zakaria To Chelsea
The swiss midfielder also completed his move to Chelsea from Juventus on deadline day. He is expected to compete with the likes of Jorginho, Kovacic, Kante, and Gallagher for the starting spot this season. His signing will strengthen Chelsea’s midfield as they aim to get back to winning ways this season.
