2019: Aisha Buhari Appoints campaign team for her husband’s re-election

The Wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, Aisha Buhari, has reversed her threat not to support her husband’s re-election for second tenure in 2019, if there things do not change in the country. The President’s wife, thus, appointed a Campaign Committee to support the re-election of her husband for a second tenure.
The Campaign Team constitutes about 700 members who include the wife of the Vice President, Dolapo Osinbajo; Senators, Governors wives, Ministers, former governors, head of federal agencies and entertainers.
The President’s wife chairs the Campaign Team while the Vice President’s wife is co-chairperson.
Mrs. Adejoke O. Adefulure, former deputy governor in Lagos, and wife of Nasarawa Governor, Mrs. Mairo Al-Makura, were appointed vice chairpersons for South and North, respectively.
Other Team leaders are: Hajia Salamatu Baiwa Umar–Eluma, National Coordinator; Barrister Juliet Ibekaku-Nwagu, Deputy National Coordinator – South, and Hajia Binta Muazu, Deputy National Coordinator – North.
