23-yr-old man arrested for stabbing his mom to death 

The Delta State Police Command says its operatives have arrested a 23-year-old man, identified simply as Samson, for allegedly stabbing his mother to death in Obiaruku, Ukwuani Local Government Area of the state.

It was gathered that the suspect, who’s said to be a drug addict, attacked his mom with a knif£ after she cautioned him against smoking early in the morning.

In a video currently making the rounds, the suspect was seen holding the knife as his mom lays in a pool of her own blood.

According to reports, a close relative disclosed that Samson initially relocated to Asaba to learn a trade after completing secondary school.

However, he was allegedly brought back a few months later after associating with a group of people who introduced him to drugs which had a detrimental impact on his mental health.
