3 dead as gangs clash over lady’s love
Two rival gangs clashed and some members took bullets in Offa, Kwara on Sunday, over something they both valued so much: the love of a lady.
Residents of the Offa LGA said three of the hoods were shot dead in the fracas between the Isale Oja and Oja Oba gangs that took place Saturday night.
According to a eyewitness, one of the group leaders was said to have snatched the girlfriend of a member of the rival group.
The state police command PRO SP Ajayi Okasanmi confirmed the incident.
“Before the arrival of Police men dispatched to the scene, two of the warring gangster groups, Samad Adeyemi, 21, and Abdulahi Mohammed, 20, have been shot dead,” he told the Daily Trust, adding investigation continues.
