5 signs that a person could be suffering from depression
Depression is a dangerous diseases that has continued to take the lives of millions of people around the world. Depression has sadly lead to several types of suicides which people have continued to commit over the years and it has lead to devasting loss of millions of talents.
Depression is not a disease that is easily treated because it has no particular cure but it can overtime be treated when found in time.
This is why it is important that every parent, child, sister, brother and relatives know the signs of a person that is depressed in order to help them in it’s early stages.
Treating depression at its early stages is highly advised by doctors because it helps in the treatment of the diseases. In this article, I am going to be talking about some of the signs that a person could be suffering from depression.
1. Lost interest in favourite things
It is very common for people who are suffering from depression to lose interest in some of the favourite things they do such as hobbies, sports, fun and even s*x may be a valid sign that a person is depressed.
2. Increased fatigue and sleep problems
It is also very common that people who are suffering from depression are more likely to suffer high level of fatigue as well as more sleep problems. This could be either too much sleep and difficulty sleeping.
3. Anxiety
Depression also caused anxiety in most of its victims. One of the signs which you will notice when a person is anxious is that they might have anxiety issues, this might include increased anger, rapid heart rate, increased breathing and heavy sweating.
4. Changes in appetite and weight
It is very common for most depressed people to lose their appetite as well as lose their weight.
5. Looking at death
Most depressed people only look at death as their only option and sometimes even say it with their words and expressions.
