50-year-old man excretes 77 pellets of cocaine in 4 days, lands in NDLEA net
The NDLEA has revealed the arrest of a 50-year-old, Mgbeobuna Victor Eberechukwu, at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu, in possession of 77 pellets of cocaine. The agency said he excreted 77 wraps of the illicit drug in eight excretions in four days.
The media director of the NDLEA, Femi Babafemi, had in a statement indicated that the agency arrested Mgbeobuna on Saturday, 6th August on his arrival from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, onboard an Ethiopian airline.
Mgbeobuna was identified to be from Idemili South Local Government Area, Anambra State.
NDLEA also disclosed the arrest of three drug peddler suspects in Kaduna, identified as Saifullahi Sani, Salisu Nafi’u and Abdulrazaq Mamman. The agency said they were arrested in possession of 1,112,350 tablets of Tramadol (225mg and 100mg) weighing 38.3kg. at the time of arrest.
A female drug dealer, Saratu Abdullahi, 28, from Wurno council area of the state was also arrested at Hotoro with 541 blocks of cannabis weighing 245kg in Kano.
