Mayhem in Bayelsa as gunmen hit police station, kill DPO, others
The Agudama Ekpetiama Division of the Bayelsa Police Command has been attacked by unidentified gunmen.
In the attack that took place last night, the DPO, a sergeant, and an unspecified number of men were killed while arms and ammunition were carted away, according to the state’s command.
Two others were also injured, and are being treated at the Niger Delta University Teaching Hospital, Okolobiri.
The command has warned all stations to be on the alert.
