Ganduje’s sacked aide flees Nigeria
The media aide to Kano Governor Umar Ganduje sacked, arrested , and detained for criticizing President Muhammadu Buhari weeks ago, has fled the country.
In some pictures he posted on social media, Salihu Tanko Yakasai appeared on the foreground of an airport, with a Qatar Airways aircraft behind him.
Then he released a tweet captioned “Goodbye Naija”.
Yakasai spoke out on the escalating security crisis in the country, asking Buhari to resign.
The APC governor Yakasai worked for first sacked him. Then the DSS picked him up, and interrogated him for days.
According to the service, there was more to what the media aide said.
