INEC releases update on Continuous Voters Registration
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Monday released update on the Continuous Voters Registration (CVR) exercise across the country. The commissioner gave details of fresh registrations, completed Online and Physical registrations, gender distribution and age classification. Completed registration of male is 1,414,675, while completed female registration is 1,390,414
Details of the registration statistics released by the INEC on Monday reads: “CVR Update: Quarter 3, WK 4 as at 7.00am, Monday 31st January 2022:
Fresh Registrants: 5,353,744
Completed Online and Physical Registration: 2,805,089
Completed Reg:
Male: 1,414,675
Female: 1,390,414
PWDs: 25,523
Type
Online – 1,148,631
Physical – 1,656,458
Youth (18- 34): 1,950,623”
