Peter Obi finally reacts to the killing of a Northern woman & her kids in Anambra
The former governor of Anambra State, Mr Peter Obi, has finally reacted to to killing of a northern woman, Harira and her kids and the beheading of a House of Assembly member in Anambra State, few days ago.
According to a tweet he made on his verified twitter handle, the former Anambra State governor made it known that he is highly disturbed by the increasing horrific killings in the south eastern Nigeria, most especially the recent beheading of a state legislature and the callous murder of a pregnant woman and her 4 kids in Anambra State.
Speaking further, Mr Peter Obi stated it clearly that these violent killings are damnable and unacceptable, making it known that their communities are crumbling before them.
He further sent out his deepest condolences to the families of the deceased and urged the affected communities, security agencies, traditional rulers and the government at all levels to work collectively so as to restore peace.
Speaking further, the former Anambra State governor stated it clearly that the families of the deceased deserve justice, making it known that justice can only be served when the killers are arrested and brought to book.
