Supporters call out Donald Trump for 2024 presidency at wife’s funeral
Supporters of former President Donald Trump of the United States (US) on Wednesday gave the former president a rowdy ovation at the funeral pf his wife, Ivana, in New York City.
During the procession of the casket at the Frank Campbell Funeral Home in Manhattan, supporters of Trump urged the former US president to run for the 2024 presidential election, shouting: “We love you”; “2024!”
Trump, accompanied by his wife, Melania, daughter, Ivanka, and his son, Eric, slightly raised his hand to acknowledge sheers from the crowd.
Trump had last Thursday announced the death of his former wife on social media, describing her as “a wonderful, beautiful, and amazing woman, who led a great and inspirational life.”
Trump and Ivana had three children together in their 15 years of marriage.
Ivana died at 73 from domestic accident.
Other family members at the funeral service included Trump and Ivana’s eldest son, Donald Jr., Trump’s youngest son, Barron, Trump’s younger daughter, Tiffany, and Ivanka’s husband, Jared Kushner.
