The spokesperson for the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, Festus Keyamo, has reacted to the video of Oyo State Deputy Governor, Bayo Lawal, at an APC event in Ondo State.

Lawal followed the presidential candidate of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to a meeting with Afenifere leaders in Akure, the capital city of Ondo.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) deputy governor represented his principal, Governor Seyi Makinde, at the event.

In a video circulating on social media, the PDP deputy governor said Makinde has always stood with the Yoruba since he became the governor of Oyo and he will still stand with the Southwest agenda in 2023.

In reaction to the video, Keyamo, who is also the minister of state for labour and employment, said, “We are getting to the business end of the campaign. When we say, “the jungle will mature’,” they didn’t understand. But, I guess they are getting the picture now.”
