Gabon military regime permits Ali Bongo to travel for medicals
The military regime in Gabon has granted permission to ousted President Ali Bongo to travel out of the country for health reasons.
The former Gabonese president would be traveling overseas for medicals. He has been in detention since the military overthrew him after he has been 14 years in office. Apparently, the military regime has given the deposed president the freedom to leave the country.

Ali Bongo had been proclaimed winner of the August 26 election for a third term in office but the military stopped him in a recent coup.
The military regime cancelled the result of the election that proclaimed Ali Bongo winner.
Meanwhile, stakeholders in Gabon have responded differently to the permission granted ousted President Ali Bongo to travel for medicals, questioning if he could not build functional hospital in the country in the 14 years he has been in office.
