Fast-rising Nigerian singer Qing Madi has accused her former record label of intimidation and interference in her music career.

In a series of posts shared on Instagram, the 19-year-old artiste alleged that the label has continued to target her despite losing a legal case against her. She also drew comparisons  to the past experience of fellow singer Cynthia Morgan.

“My ex-label… the same people that tried to destroy Cynthia Morgan are trying to do the same to me,” she wrote. “They sued me for $1 million and lost, yet they still won’t let me be.”

Qing Madi further claimed that one of her songs, KFMD, was removed from the streaming platform Spotify, allegedly due to actions taken by individuals linked to her former management.

She also publicly called out her former manager, Joy Tongo, urging her to stop interfering in her career.

“I just want to do music, that’s all… I’m 19 years old, let me be,” she added, insisting she would not be silenced.

When contacted, her current team at Blunt Management declined to comment, stating they were not granting interviews at the time. Attempts to reach Joy Tongo were unsuccessful, as her Instagram account is currently private.

The allegations remain unverified, and no official response has been issued by the accused parties as of the time of reporting.
