‘Abiodun Must Go’ protesters storm Amosun’s residence for support
A group of protesters under the aegis of Concerned Ogun Citizens stormed former governor Ibikunle Amosun’s residence in Abeokuta, Ogun State, on Saturday, pleading with him to join forces with other opposition parties to unseat Governor Dapo Abiodun.
According to report, the protesters urged Amosun to support the Peoples Democratic Party candidate, Oladipupo Adebutu, in the election next Saturday.
The protesters carried placards with different inscriptions conveying their grievances, some of which read, “Dapo Abiodun must go”, “Senator Ibikunle Amosun you area a leading leader, with you buy our side, we can all make this happen”, “Senator Ibikunle Amosun, please join PDP allied forces now”, among others.
