The Commissioner for Health of the state, Dr. Tomi Coker, announced the appointment during the health insurance scheme event held at the Ogun State Health Insurance Agency, Abeokuta, on Monday.
According to Coker, the move was a follow-up to the formal launch of the Basic Healthcare Provision Fund and Health Insurance for the informal sector on February 6, 2022.
Coker said, “The health insurance scheme has multiple schemes in one basket. We have registered 50, 000 vulnerable people in the Basic Healthcare Provision Fund and the Health insurance for the informal sector running actively since its formal launch by Governor Dapo Abiodun in February.”
