As APC wins Lagos

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship candidate in Lagos State, Jimi Agbaje, has congratulated Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the APC, winner of the governorship election in the state even before the final declaration of the result.

Sanwo-Olu won the governorship election with over 700,000 votes while Agbaje had over 200,000 votes to place second.

In Abua State, Governor Okezie ikpeazu won re-election with 261,127 votes on the PDP platform, while Uche Ogah of the APC lost with 99 574 votes.

APC also won in Jigawa State beating PDP to second place.

In Akwa Ibom State, report indicates Governor Udom Emmanuel of the PDP has clear lead while Nsima Ekere of the APC is trailing behind. The official annou8ncmenet is still being awaited at the time of this report.
