Aisha Yesufu reacts after NNPP claims the party is open to alliance with other parties
It was reported yesterday that the National Chairman of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, Professor Rufai Alkali, claimed that the party is still open to alliance with other political parties, ahead of the next year’s presidential election.
According to reports, the NNPP National Chairman made it known that any political party seeking alliance with the NNPP should not believe that the party’s presidential candidate, Rabiu Kwankwaso must step down.
This particular statement that was made by the NNPP National Chairman caused a lot of Nigerians to react differently. Based on that note, a well known human rights activist, Aisha Yesufu, decided to react. While reacting, Aisha Yesufu made it known that she was thinking that they have all moved on.
It should be recalled that there was a move by NNPP and Labour Party to form an alliance, but unfortunately, the alliance between these two parties never worked out, which made the presidential candidates of these two parties to pick their respective running mates.
