Aisha Yesufu reveals the type of Nigeria she is working to get
Popular human rights activist, Aisha Yesufu has revealed the type of Nigeria she is working to get. She disclosed this via her official Twitter account.
According to Aisha Yesufu, she does not want to help anybody and she doesn’t want people to have any reason to need her help. She revealed that as an activist, she is working for a type of Nigeria where she wouldn’t need to assist anybody financially because the Government would have already made provision for it.
She cited payment of school fees as an example, she revealed that if the Government is providing good quality primary and secondary school education, then parents would no longer ask her to help them pay their children school fees.
Aisha Yesufu wrote on Twitter, I don’t want to help anybody. I want people to not need my help. If government is providing free good quality primary and secondary education you will not need to come ask for my help to pay school fees for your children. That is the Nigeria I am working to get!
