American actress, Jennifer Hudson attains EGOT status at Tony Awards
American actress, Jennifer Hudson, on Sunday, won an award at the Tony Awards, making her the newest celeb to have an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony Awards.
The American Idol alumnus clinched her first-ever Tony Award on when ‘A Strange Loop’ won best musical. Hudson was a producer on the show.
Hudson won her first of the big four awards, an Oscar, for her role in 2007’s Dreamgirls. She is a two-time Grammy winner. She got her Daytime Emmy last year, for the animated short Baba Yaga, which she co-produced.
