APC crisis: Governor Akeredolu calls APC governors backing Governor Mai Mala Buni ‘Yahoo-Yahoo’ Governors
According to the statement credited to Governor Akeredolu of Ondo state , where he said only Yahoo-Yahoo governors are with governor of Yobe State Governor Buni.
As the crisis rocking the ruling party APC continues to deepen, Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State, has described state governors who are on the side of Governor Mai Mala Buni as “Yahoo, Yahoo Governors”.
It should be recall that on Wednesday, APC crisis took new dimension, when Niger state governor, Abubakar Bello, took over from his Yobe state counterpart, Mai Mala Buni, as Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC).
On the same Wednesday, two state Governors have different opinions on Buni, Nasir El–Rufai governor of Kaduna state and Dave Umahi governor of Ebonyi state took different positions on Buni. While Umahi said Buni was still in charge of the party, El-Rufai said he can never return as the party chairman.
Gov Akeredolu on Wednesday March 10, said the ruling party survived a “Civilian Coup largely inspired by mischief and incurable lust for power through artificial barricades”.
Governor Akeredolu concluded that some APC governors are for the party, while few ‘Yahoo, Yahoo’ governors were hand in glove with Buni to circumvent the will of majority of APC members.
With the way things are going on in the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) do you think APC can put her house in order before , 2023 general election primary which is less than eight months.
