APC presidential aspirant begs for fund on social media
An APC presidential aspirant Adamu Garba has drawn the ire of social media following his failed attempt at a fundraiser on Twitter.
His ruling party pegs the nomination and interest forms at N100 million.
Garba, complaining, tried to sting the tech platform to raise fund, appealing to patriotism and unity.
“Dear Nigerians, My project with you has started. To those of you who made pledges of donation, here is the account number 1008404148 | Zenith. 100M for the form is insensitive, but our collective contribution to get this form will send a strong signal that we care about Nigeria,” he tweeted.
Majority of Nigerians who commented on the posts however hammered him.
Some reminded him of his pro-government role in the 2020 ENDSARS uprising, and support for Twitter ban by the federal government.
Others asked him to defect to another party where money is no object.
