APC State Publicity Sec., Chris Finebone, defects to PDP in Rivers
The State Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers, Chris Finebone, on Friday revealed his defection to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state. Finebone was said to have explained that he dumped the APC for the PDP to support his kinsman from Opobo, who is the PDP governorship candidate for the 2023 elections.
Finebone on Thursday evening released his defection group photograph, standing with Governor Nyesom Wike, PDP governorship candidate in Rivers State, Siminialayi Fubara, and the former APC State Chairman, Davies Okanya-Ibiamu, who had earlier defected to the PDP.
Chris Finebone has joined other APC chieftains in Rivers, who include Senator Magnus Abe, now governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), and Dawari George, a former member of the House of Representatives, now, governorship candidate of the Action Alliance, who have dumped the APC in Rivers State.
