Arsenal prepare £85m bid for Juventus star Kenan Yildiz
By Ihuoma Inyama
Arsenal are reportedly preparing a €100 million (£85 million) bid for Juventus forward Kenan Yildiz as they look to beat Real Madrid to his signature.
According to Italian reports, Juventus could be forced to consider selling the Turkey international if they fail to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
Yildiz, who can play as a left winger or second striker, has emerged as one of Juventus’ most important players since breaking into the first team.
The 21-year-old signed a new contract with the Italian club in February, keeping him at Juventus until June 2030.
However, his future could depend on the club’s performance this season. Juventus currently sit seventh in Serie A after five matches, with reports suggesting they would demand at least €100 million for Yildiz.

Real Madrid have previously shown interest in the forward and have reportedly renewed their pursuit, but Arsenal are now preparing to challenge the Spanish giants.
Tuttomercatoweb reports that Arsenal are ready to make a €100 million offer as Mikel Arteta looks to strengthen his options on the left following the departures of Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli.
Juventus are understood to have no intention of selling Yildiz in January, but that position could change if the club’s season fails to go as planned.
The forward is also believed to have ambitions of competing for the Ballon d’Or in the future, with a move to a club such as Arsenal or Real Madrid potentially offering him a bigger platform to achieve that goal.
