Atiku honours HRH Dr Umar Farouq II on coronation as 12th Emir of Katagum
The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, in the passing week, attended the coronation of the 12th Emir of Katagum in Bauchi State, His Royal Highness, Dr Umar Farouq II. The PDP presidential candidate prayed for good health, wisdom, and long life for the Emir.
Atiku was received in Bauchi by a tumultuous crowd. He also thanked the supporters who came out in millions at the ceremony.
National Daily captured Atiku’s tweet on his official twitter handle as he wrote: Atiku Abubakar @atiku “I was honoured to witness the coronation of HRH Dr Umar Farouq II OON as the 12th Emir of Katagum in Bauchi State. I pray that the Almighty Allah blesses the Emir with the gift of good health and wisdom to succeed in his new role as we unite to recover Nigeria.” -AA
