Bashir Ahmad reacts after Otti announced partnership with Chinese coy to launch rail project
Bashir Ahmad, a former advisor to Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari and a current member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has spoken out in response to the news that the governor of Abia state, Dr. Alex Otti, has announced a collaboration with a Chinese firm to undertake the light rail project.
Supporting the Abia state governor’s decision to team up with a Chinese firm to build the light rail project, Bashir Ahmad recently posted on his official page. He emphasised that this project will make Abia state more attractive to investors and give it a leg up in the competition.
“I just wanted to say how proud I am of the Abia State Governor and his decision to team up with a Chinese firm on the light rail project,” he said. This endeavour will put Abia in a better position to compete with the best and attract additional investment opportunities.
