Bashir Ahmad reacts as Peter Obi’s supporter plans to donate hijabs to Northerners
Bashir Ahmad, the former media aide to President Muhammadu Buhari, has reacted to the plan to donate hijabs to northerners by supporters of Peter Obi.
Peter Obi, who is the former governor of Anambra State, is running for president of Nigeria on the platform of the Labour Party (LP).
Obi’s presidential bid is gaining momentum on social media and his supporters are planning on how to get more support in the northern part of the country.
A supporter on Twitter plan to donate 2000 hijabs to Muslims in the northern part of the country.
In reaction to the development, Bashir Ahmad said, “Alhamdulillah, thank you Sister Moe. Hijab is now acceptable and seems to be no longer an oppressive piece for our innocent sisters.”
“And, is this also an indication that the Obi Presidency will accomplish what the Buhari Presidency couldn’t, the ISLAMIZATION of Nigeria?”
