Breaking: Confirmed Covid-19 cases nearing 300, Lagos figure rises
With 14 new coronavirus cases confirmed Thursday, Nigeria now has 288 people infected with the viral disease that has reached a pandemic level.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control announced the latest figure on its Twitter handle on Thursday.
“14 new cases of #COVID-19 have been reported in Nigeria: 13 in Lagos State and one in Delta State.
“As of 09:30 pm on the 9th of April, there are 288 confirmed cases of #COVID-19 reported in Nigeria. 51 have been discharged with seven deaths.”
