Meanwhile, latest report has emerged that City’s neighbours Manchester United have already contacted Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes with the aim of hijacking the deal for their former star player who spent six remarkable years at Old Trafford.
Interestingly for the Red Devils fans, National Daily can confirm from the latest report from Goal that Ronaldo will not be joining Manchester City despite the Portuguese forward set to leave Juventus.
City had talks over the possibility of signing the striker but sources say they have decided against it.
Manchester United are believed to be now considering a move for their former player.
