Breaking: Voters scamper for safety as thugs destroy electoral materials in Kogi
Voters in Odaba polling unit in Dekina Ward, on Saturday fled from the voting centre following the disruption by political thugs who came in large numbers to destroy voting materials.
The thugs appeared with machetes and guns, snatched ballot boxes, broke chairs and dispersed voters.
As of the time of filing this report, no statement from voters and officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission due to the situation at hand.
