Bridgforte to launch landmark report on Digital Trust, platform-led finance
Bridgforte has announced the launch of its flagship report, “Trust Architecture in Platform-Led Finance,” a comprehensive publication that examines the changing dynamics of trust, governance, regulation and innovation in Africa’s rapidly evolving digital financial ecosystem.
The report will be unveiled during a virtual event scheduled for Tuesday, July 28, at 4:00 p.m. West Africa Time (WAT), bringing together policymakers, regulators, financial institutions, fintech innovators, payment service providers, investors and other stakeholders to discuss the future of platform-led finance and the institutional frameworks required to sustain confidence in digital financial services.
The event will feature a keynote address by Fundi Tshazibana, who also serves as Chief Executive of the Prudential Authority.
Widely regarded as one of Africa’s leading financial regulators, Tshazibana is expected to share insights on regulatory innovation, financial stability, digital transformation and the critical role of trust in building resilient financial systems across the continent.
According to Bridgforte, the report explores the intersection of technology, finance, regulation and consumer confidence, with a focus on strengthening trust in increasingly platform-driven financial ecosystems.

Among the key themes examined are governance frameworks for digital financial services, the future of payments and digital infrastructure, regulatory approaches that promote innovation while protecting consumers, and the importance of institutional trust in advancing financial inclusion and sustainable digital growth.
The organisation noted that as financial services continue to migrate to digital platforms, trust has become one of the industry’s most valuable assets. It said the publication provides strategic insights for regulators, financial institutions, fintech companies, payment providers, policymakers and investors seeking to navigate the changing financial landscape.
Speaking ahead of the launch, Aishah N. Ahmad described the report as a timely contribution to ongoing conversations about the future of digital finance.
She said the issues surrounding payments, digital trust and platform-led finance have become central to the future of financial services, expressing optimism that the event would bring together leaders from across the financial ecosystem to identify practical pathways for building trusted, resilient and inclusive digital financial systems.
Bridgforte encouraged participants to register ahead of the event and invited professionals responsible for payments, digital channels, financial technology, innovation, risk management and corporate strategy to take part in the discussions.
The organisation said the event is expected to stimulate meaningful dialogue on strengthening trust architectures that support secure, innovative and inclusive financial ecosystems across Africa and beyond.
Bridgforte is a thought leadership and policy platform focused on advancing research, dialogue and practical solutions at the intersection of finance, technology, governance and institutional trust.
Through research and multi-stakeholder engagement, the organisation seeks to strengthen the foundations of resilient and inclusive financial systems in an increasingly digital economy.
