Buhari set to present 2021 budget proposal on Thursday, writes National Assembly
President Muhammadu Buhari is set to present the 2021 budget proposal before the two chambers of the national Assembly. The President, accordingly, has written to the National Assembly on his readiness to present the 2021 budget at a joint sitting on Thursday, October 8, 2020, at 11.00am.
The President of the Senate, Ahmed Lawan, read the letter read on Tuesday at the resumption of plenary, indicating that President Buhari is requesting the audience of lawmakers in both chambers for the presentation of the budget.
National Daily gathered that the Senate has Tuesday and Wednesday to pass the 2021-2023 Medium Term Expenditure Framework MTEF and Fiscal Strategy Paper FSP earlier presented before President Buhari would present the 2021 budget proposal.
