Buhari visits Zamfara Thursday in solidarity with victims of bandits’ violence
President Muhammadu Buhari will be visiting Zamfara State on Thursday in solidarity with victims of bandits’ violent attacks and invasion of rural communities.
Governor Bello Matawalle of Zamfara State disclosed at a public event towards the preparation for the one day working visit that President Buhari will be in the state to Commiserate with the government, people and victims of banditry and kidnapping, as an expression of the immeasurable love President Buhari for Zamfara State.
Governor Matawalle appealed to residents of Zamfara State to come out in mass to welcome President Buhari to the state. The governor assured of adequate security in the state during the visit of the president.
Bandits have turned Zamfara State to war theater, invading communities, destroying property, killing and kidnapping people. in most areas, Bandits elevated their violent activities to the point of collecting levy from farmers before permitting them access to their farms.
