Buhari’s aide, Lauretta Onochie reacts to Ekweremadu’s arrest
The Personal Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on social media and a clergywoman Ms Lauretta Onochie has described the arrest of Former deputy Senate president senator Ike Ekweremadu and his wife, Beatrice Nwanneka, as an instant justice.
Former Deputy senate President and a member of Peoples Democratic Party PDP, senator Ike Ekweremadu and his wife, Beatrice Nwanneka Ekweremandu, were arrested for human trafficking & organ harvesting by the Police in the United Kingdom UK.
The development was announced on Thursday morning shortly after the couple were arrested, they will be arraigned at Uxbridge before a magistrate, according to a statement from the Metropolitan Police.
Accordingto a post Lauretta Onochie made on her verified Twitter account, She wrote
“Sen. Ike Ekweremadu and his wife Beatrice, have Been charged to court. No delay. No magomago. Instant justice. No faffing about.
Our criminal justice system in Nigeria has lessons to learn. Speedy dispensation of justice would reduce animosity and anger.”
