Casualties as beer parlour explodes in Yobe
An explosion rocked a beer parlour known as “Gidan Amarya” in Gashua, headquarters of Bade Local Government Area of Yobe, on Sunday night.
One person was killed and about seven others sustained injuries.
Authorities in the local government confirmed the incident.
The Executive Chairman of Bade local government, Sanda Kara Bade, said he mobilised security team to the scene and ordered investigation.
According to him, the injured victims were evacuated for treatment at a government facility.
Two days earlier, Boko Haram two days earlier, Boko Haram killed no fewer than 10 persons at ‘Kwari’, a brothel in Geidam Local Government Area of Yobe.
Fleshpots like Gidan Amarya across the state now appear to be targets of terrorists.
