Casualties as gunmen battle police at divisional headquarters
Gunmen on Monday morning attacked the Otoko Divisional Police Headquarters in the Obowo Local Government Area of Imo State, injuring two officers.
The attack started at about 3am and lasted for many hours, and police Officers were said to have engaged the gunmen before the hoodlum ran away, sources said..
The injured policemen have been taken to an undisclosed hospital for treatment.
The Public Relations Officer, CSP Mike Abattam, confirmed the incident.
He said the command has launched an investigation into the incident.
