Club owners react to rumoured reports of Supersports withdrawal from NPFL
Speaking in Abuja on recently after a joint consultative meeting of the LMC and the Club owners Association Mr Alloy Chukwuemeka the executive secretary of the Club owners Association told national daily that the issue was not part of the agenda of the meeting.
According to him the meeting was centered on the review of the first stanza of the League, resumption date for the second round as well as the state of the NPFL.
Chukwuemeka said further that there was no part of the agenda of the meeting for discussion of rumours, “so the so called rumour is a non issue ” he said.
The ABS FC Director of Football however charged football stakeholders not to dwell on rumours stressing that neither the Supersports nor the LMC had issued any public statement nor exchanged Correspondents regarding the television right contract of the NPFL which is still subsisting.
