Coach Bosso’s hammer falls on players
Following the disappointing outing lost at home against El -Kanemi Warriors in the #NPFL Match Day 12 last Sunday the Technical Adviser of Gombe united Ladan Bosso has placed the players on half salary, National Daily gathered.
Addressing them after a morning training session at the Pantami stadium, the Niger state born tactician expressed his dismay that despite dominating the game from start to finish they failed to convert plethora of chances created.
Bosso warned that he would not condone such attitude and he want to see changes in the next fixture against Yobe Desert Stars this Sunday.
He reiterated that they will only get their normal salaries if he sees improvement in subsequent matches.
Reaction from a sports lover
Placing players on half salaries either by the coach or management is illegal, archaic, demonic and satanic .
Players’ salaries are sacrosanct and untouchable and are not subject to their performance.
The Management is at liberty to tamper with their match bonuses and other performances based emoluments but not their salaries
