Council boss tasks investors on Eleko beach facelift.
Abdullahi Sesan-Olowa, Chairman, Ibeju Lekki Local Government Council in Epe Division, has called for Public-Private, Partnership (PPP) investment to give a Eleko beach in the community a facelift and international standard.
Sesan-Olowa, an Engineer, made the call in an interview with Newsmen in Ibeju-Lekki on Tuesday.
He said the call became necessary to reposition tourism in the community.
“Eleko beach is an old beach and it is one of the pride of the community.
“Therefore, it is important to change the face of the tourism potential in Ibeju Lekki to attract visitors and tourists, ” he said.
The council boss said that the PPP arrangement was aimed at ensuring a viable commercial project which would be of mutual benefit to all and sundry.
Sesan-Olowa pledged the administration’s commitment to restore Eleko Beach back to its glorious days, woo potential investors and boost the tourism drive of the local government area.
