CVR: INEC deletes 2.7m double registrations, distributes new PVCs in Nov
The Independent National Electoral Commission on Tuesday disclosed that the commission has deleted 2.7 million double registrations from the recent Continuous Voters Registration exercise, adding that the new Permanent Voter Cards will be available for collection in November.
The INEC Chairman, Prof Mahmoud Yakubu, at a National Endowment for Democracy event in Washington DC in the United States, said that about 50% of the new PVCs are ready but yet to be distributed to collection centres.
