Democracy Day: Sanwo-Olu calls for remembrance of sacrifices of heroes of democracy
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State in commemoration of Nigeria’s democracy day anniversary on Wednesday, called for remembrance of the sacrifices made by the heroes who fought for the democratic path being celebrated in the country.

“Dear Lagosians,
“As we celebrate Democracy Day, let us remember the sacrifices made by our heroes who fought for the democratic path we walk on today. Let’s join hands to protect and nurture our democracy, ensuring that their efforts were not in vain.
“June 12 symbolizes our unity, hope, and the pursuit of a better life through true democratic practices. It is a day to reflect on our progress and renew our commitment to building a brighter future for our nation.
“Let us stand together as one, embracing our common destiny and believing in the potential of our great country. With faith in our hearts and unity in our actions, we can achieve the future we dream of.
“Together, let’s build the Nigeria of our dreams.
