Doctor defiles 15-year-old maid in Delta, offers N1m bribe to squash case
A medical doctor in Asaba, Delta state who allegedly defiled his 15-year-old maid, simply identified as Chiamaka has offered a N1million bribe for the case to be squashed by the state’s Human Rights Complaint Committee.
According to Harrison Gwamnishu, a member of the Delta State Human Rights Complaint Committee who disclosed this via a post on his verified Instagram page, the committee received a complaint from an anonymous caller who pleaded it handled a case of child sexual abuse.
The committee led by Gwamnishu immediately intervened team and investigate the complaint.
It was gathered that the medical doctor allegedly under the guise of checking the virginity of the female maid, a minor living in his house defiled the victim.
Although he reportedly openly denied the allegations, he, however, allegedly confessed to Harrison that he indeed perpetrated the act. The confession was reportedly recorded with a private spy camera.
It was after the doctor’s confession he reportedly offered Harrison the sum of one million naira for him not to reveal the secret and unjustly close the case.
He then went to the bank and withdrew N1,000,000.00 and handed it over to Harrison as bribe to close the case.
Upon further fact finding, it was discovered that the doctor is a serial child rapist who has performed the act on multiple occasions.
The suspect and one Million Naira exhibit have been reportedly handed over to the law enforcement agency for further investigation/prosecution.
