Dowen College: Causes of Sylvester’s death confirmed, published
The cause of the death of Sylvester Oromoni, a student of Dowen College, Lagos, allegedly bullied to death has been revealed.
In an autopsy report already made public, the 1-year-old died from ‘acute lung injury from chemical intoxication in a background of blunt force’.
The autopsy was carried out in Safe Haven Mortuary, Warri, and was supervised by Dr. Clement Vhriterhire, a consultant for the Central Hospital, Warri, Delta.
Oromoni ‘s death has brought bullying to the front burner since the incident happened late November.
The school has been shuttered by Lagos government to allow investigation.
