Edo drug pusher nabbed in Kano
Agbo Victor, a notorious drug dealer, has been arrested with haul of 250 parcels of Indian hemp in Kano.
Spokesman of the state’s police command, Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa confirmed the 33-year-old drug pusher coms from Edo State, and was arrested along Kwanar Dangora in Kiru Local Government Area, Kaduna-Kano border.
“A Highway Patrol team in Kano State, while on surveillance patrol along Kwanar Dangora, Kiru LGA, Kaduna-Kano border, intercepted the suspect driving a dark green Honda Hennessy Motor Vehicle containing Two Hundred and Fifty (250) parcels of Dried Leaves suspected to be Indian Hemp, valued One Million, Seven Hundred and N1,750,000:00 packed inside the Motor Vehicle boot,” he said.
On investigation, the suspect confessed that he transported the Indian hemp from Edo State en-route Kano State, and he was going to deliver it to one Alhaji who is now on the run.
The case has been transferred to the Command’s Criminal Investigation Department, Narcotics Section for further investigation.
