EPL: Liverpool approach Brighton for Minteh – Reports
Liverpool have made an approach to Brighton over a potential deal for winger Yankuba Minteh as the Premier League champions continue to strengthen their attacking options, according to BBC Sport on Thursday.
The 22-year-old Gambia international has scored 10 goals and provided nine assists in 73 appearances for Brighton since joining the club from Newcastle United for £30 million in 2024.

Minteh primarily operates on the right wing but is currently recovering from a leg injury suffered during a pre-season friendly against Roma earlier this month.
Liverpool are looking to add more options in the wide areas following the departure of Mohamed Salah, with the club expected to consider several targets before the transfer window closes.
The Reds have already signed Victor Munoz from Osasuna for £34 million this summer, with the versatile forward capable of operating on either wing or through the middle.
Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola remains another key target for Liverpool, although negotiations are complicated by the difference in the clubs’ valuations.
PSG are reportedly seeking around £145 million for the 23-year-old France international, while Liverpool would prefer a deal closer to £100 million.
Barcola is understood to be open to a move to Anfield, but Liverpool’s approach for Minteh indicates that the club are continuing to explore alternative options as they seek to strengthen their attack before the transfer deadline.
