Festus Keyamo’s aide gives free schools uniforms to Iperu Remo pupils
Parents and teachers of pupils in St. James Anglican Primary School Iperu Remo, Ogun State have described Mr. Gbenga Saka the Special Assistant to the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development’s empowerment initiatives, as a ray of hope to many indigents and vulnerable in the state.
Saka who happens to be a prominent son of a renowned politician and an administrator during the military era, in Ilisan-Remo donated hundreds of free school uniforms to pupils of St. James Anglican Primary School Iperu Remo, Ogun State, the alma mater of the Governor of Ogun State Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR.
The gesture by Saka aligns with the concept of giving back to the society that made us, while remembering that every politics is local and in consonance with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda as well as his recent order of ensuring that the grassroots gets more dividends of democracy.
Saka said that,“This gesture is aimed at assisting parents to ease academic financial burden ahead of the new academic year, it is my own way of giving back to the society that made me.”
Responding to the kind gesture the School’s Principal, Staff and parents of the pupils who are the direct beneficiaries heartily describes Saka as a grassroots politician, who never forget his home despite work schedule in the Aviation Ministry, Abuja.

“The burden for new school uniforms has been completely taken off from our heads.
“Our prayer is that God should grant Saka his heart desires and protect him more in his current assignment and office.”
It will be recalled that this is not the first donation by Hon Gbenga Saka, he had supported schools and pupils of Ilisan, Remo and Odogbolu with various teaching aid items, writing pads, benches, desks and cash to make education and learning easier and accessible.
Saka, the son of a seasoned politician Late Engr. Adebayo Saka, an Engineer of repute and a seasoned administrator has pledge to continue to give back to his ancestral homes and communities in the spirit of love for what he described as “giving back to the society that made you”.
