FFK reacts to the arrest of Tukur Mamu
Former Nigerian minister and politician, Femi Fani Kayode has taken to social media to urge the Federal Government to go after the people who have negotiated for bandits in the past. The politician shared this in a tweet he made on his official Twitter page on Thursday, 8th of September 2022.
According to Femi Fani Kayode, he said that the biggest breakthrough in the fight against Boko Haram and the Islamic State West African Province (ISWAP) is the arrest, repatriation and detention of Tukur Mamu, a bandits’ negotiator who is currently in the custody of the Department of State Service (DSS) over security issues.
Femi Fani Kayode alleged that Mamu is an accomplice to the terrorists. The politician commended the DSS and National Intelligence Agency (NIA) for their the noble and patriotic efforts in arresting Mamu.
In his words, Femi Fani Kayode urged the Security agency to go after Mamu associates and other highly placed individuals that are close to him.
He also urged the agency to go after the individuals who have also spoken and negotiated for the terrorists in the past.
