FG commends Obaseki on control of coronavirus spread
The federal government of Nigeria, through the Minister of Health, Dr. Osagie Ehanire, at the inauguration of a 300-bed capacity Remodeled Isolation and Treatment Centre at the Stella Obasanjo Hospital and the third PCR Molecular Laboratory in the Edo Specialist Hospital, commended Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State on the capacity of the state government in containing the spread of coronavirus in the state.
Governor Godwin Obaseki accompanied the health minister on his inspection tour of the state specialist hospital.
The Minister inspected the remodeled facility set up by the Edo State Government at the isolation centre of the Stella Obasanjo Hospital. He encouraged the Edo State government to intensify efforts to contain the spread of coronavirus in the state.
Governor Godwin Obaseki assured the Minister of his commitment to fight the COVID-19 pandemic to a halt, appealing for more federal government support to the state. He expressed the belief that coronavirus infection curve will be flattened on the state.
