Finally, Wike reveals why he invited APC members to commission projects in Rivers State
Nyesom Wike, the executive governor of Rivers State has revealed why he decided to invite known allies of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu to commission projects in Rivers State.
He made this known after a former Rivers South East senator, Lee Meaba had accused him of engaging in anti-party activities. The Senator had earlier questioned the rationale behind Wike’s decision to invite known allies of Tinubu to commission projects in Rivers State instead of Atiku Abubakar.
Speaking during the commissioning of Ogbunuabali Eastern Bypass dualized road in the state capital on Tuesday, Wike justified his decision to invite Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to commission a project in Port Harcourt yesterday.
He said even Femi Gbajabiamila will be in Rivers State on Thursday to commission the assembly residence. He said irrespective of the political party any of them belong to, whether the Labour Party, or the All Progressives Congress, what he does is to invite them to come and see the wonders God has helped them to do in Rivers State and for them to go back home and compare.
