First Female FCT Head of Service, Grace Adayilo, Passes On, The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has been thrown into mourning following the sudden death of its Head of Civil Service, Mrs. Grace Adayilo, the first woman ever to occupy the position.

Mrs. Adayilo, an indigene of Abuja, reportedly slumped and passed away early Monday morning. Her death comes barely 24 hours after she attended a church service on Sunday, where she was said to have made donations to the congregation.
The Senior Special Assistant to the FCT Minister on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka, confirmed the development to our correspondent, describing it as a great loss to the FCT Administration.

Appointed as the pioneering Head of Civil Service of the FCT and First Female FCT Head, Adayilo broke new ground in the public sector and was widely respected for her dedication to duty and reforms within the civil service.
Tributes are already pouring in from colleagues, government officials, and residents of the FCT, many of whom described her death as shocking and a huge blow to the administration.
Funeral arrangements are yet to be announced as at press time.
